Freeze College Magazine Executive Board 2009-2010

Olivia Ford, Editor-in-Chief

Olivia Ford ’12 is from Louisville, KY and is now happily living in Quincy House where she’s hoping to be a History & Literature concentrator with a secondary in Spanish. At Harvard, Olivia is involved with the Radcliffe Institute, Connelly Prison tutoring for PBHA, and serves on the student advisory committee for OSAPR. Olivia’s favorite things include riding her horse Finnegan, letting her dogs Zeke and Zephyr take her for long walks, watching the ending of Pride & Prejudice on repeat, and wearing high heels.

Elizabeth Ahern, Executive Editor

Liz Ahern '12 hails from sunny San Diego. When she's at home in the warmer weather she enjoys going to the beach, surfing, and eating Mexican food. When she's not studying at Harvard, she likes to explore Boston, go for runs along the river and dance for the Harvard Ballet Company. She spent the last summer working for the Artistic Director of Paul Mitchell and hopes to continue to work with Paul Mitchell in the future. Aside from her work for Freeze College Magazine, Liz is also serving as co-Editor-In-Chief for Harvard Undergraduate Women In Business's "Make It Happen" magazine.

Annie is a junior concentrating in Visual and Environmental Studies with a secondary field in Mind, Brain, and Behavior. Annie grew up in Houston, Texas and currently lives in Leverett House. At Harvard, Annie sings and drums on the praise band of the Asian-American Christian Fellowship and freelances in web and graphic design for numerous other campus groups. Annie is a co-founder and CTO of Her Campus Media, LLC and the Creative Director of www.HerCampus.com. Her personal interests include writing short stories, shooting hoops, collecting stuffed animals, acquiring bling, and playing Super Smash Bros.

Annemette Harnes '12 is a History and Literature concentrator pursuing a secondary field in Astrophysics. She is originally from New York, and vicariously visits home through Gossip Girl. Apart from Freeze, Annemette also loves Model UN, Club Tennis, Dunster HoCo, and being a Class Representative for her high school. In her spare time, she loves reading, watching old movies, playing piano, and sneaking trips to Sweet, the cupcake shop in Harvard Square.

Samia K. Arthur-Bentil (Leverett '12) is a Neurobiology- Mind, Brain, Behavior concentrator from Dallas, TX. She is a producer for Harvard CityStep, a research assistant for a Psychology Lab and a mentor for the Alberta V. Scott Leadership program. She also serves for the Membership Development Committee of Kappa Alpha Theta Zeta Xi Chapter. She loves dancing, laughing and Chinese food.

Stephanie is a senior at Harvard University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Economics. Previously, Stephanie served as the Editor-in-Chief of Harvard’s FreezeCollegeMag.com, where she grew the staff from 9 to 32 and increased readership by more than tenfold. Stephanie spent Summer 2009 as an American Society Of Magazine Editors (ASME) intern at SELF magazine at Condé Nast Publications, and Summer 2008 as a Features Intern at Seventeen magazine at the Hearst Corporation.

At Harvard, Stephanie is also a member and former vice-president of Delta Gamma, a campus tour guide, and a member of the Hillel Communications and Development committees. Stephanie is a co-founder of Her Campus Media, LLC (HerCampus.com), of which she is the CEO & Editor-in-Chief. Her Campus was a winner in Harvard’s i3 Innovation Challenge in spring 2009, and the site launched in September 2009. Some of Stephanie’s favorite things include bargain shopping with her mom, working out, watching Gossip Girl with her roommates, New York City, getting mani/pedis, playing tennis with her dad, motivational quotations, wearing way too much green, driving her 1991 gray Volvo wagon around her hometown of Newton, MA, and getting frozen yogurt (coffee with Reese’s) with her best friend Jackie. Stephanie has been admitted to the Harvard Business School Class of 2014 via the 2+2 Program.

Windsor Hanger is a senior at Harvard University where she is concentrating in History and Science with a citation in French. Windsor is a native of Asheville, NC. At Harvard, Windsor spent two years working on FreezeCollegeMag.com as the Executive Editor and Publicity Director during which time she developed the Mr. Harvard Freshman contest, which succeeded in placing Freeze on the global map and tripling web traffic.

Windsor also worked as a freshman adviser for three years and is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Windsor has interned in the Marketing department at Bloomingdale’s, as well as in the Beauty and Advertising departments at OK! magazine. Windsor is a co-founder of Her Campus Media, LLC and currently serves as the President of Her Campus Media and the Publisher of HerCampus.com. Her Campus has been featured on Seventeen.com, in the Boston Globe, and the Chronicle of Higher Education. Windsor was the first ever Student Journalist Spotlight on College Media Beat of UWire.com. Windsor enjoys getting dolled up, dancing, reading, meeting new people, practicing yoga, working out, and going on dates with her boyfriend Alex. Her passions also include chocolate ice cream, hanging out on her mom's farm with her three younger sisters, Internet marketing, and Her Campus.
