1. The Blazer. This androgynous favorite is perfect in the winter paired with a T-shirt, skinny jeans, and a pair of tall leather boots. This spring, switch it up and wear a classic blazer with a skirt or a sundress. We recommend a gray or khaki colored blazer for a lighter feel, but navy is fine too, especially paired with lighter toned skirt. Leave black blazers in your closet for next fall.

2. Leather Calf-High Boots. Yes, we all love pairing soft leather boots with skinny jeans, but this spring, try wearing them with bare legs and a sundress. My roommate from California always rocks this look, and it′s perfect for those days that start out cooler and gradually warm up. Likewise, if you′re not totally comfortable with lots of bare skin in early spring, wearing a sundress with boots and a sweater or blazer (see above), will help to make you less self conscious.

3. The Pashmina Scarf. We all have a few of these soft favorites, but most of us fall into the habit of using them as cold-weather scarves. Fyi: they′re so much more. These gorgeous accessories can and should be used as integral pieces of an outfit, not to be removed when you take off your jacket. In the spring, they′re perfect for those days when you don′t quite need a jacket, but you′re cold in just a shirt. I like pairing a bright scarf with a white v-neck tee, and adding bracelets or earring that coordinate with the scarf. Additionally, when garden party and formal season starts up, Pashminas serve as excellent wraps. 4. The Rainboot. Yeah, I know this might seem obvious. But here′s my two cents on rain-boots. While I totally love my black Hunter boots, and I′ve certainly worn them plenty, I find myself dreading to put them on come spring. April showers are the time to show off colorful, punchy boots that scream, ″I′m thinking spring″. Boots like these are generally inexpensive, and come in a multitude of colors and fun patterns. 5. Leather Belts. Yeah, I know what you′re thinking. What′s the need for belts when you′re putting away all your jeans and cords for the season? Well, I′m personally of the opinion that spring and summer are the best time for belts. Instead of hiding it under a shirt, let a pretty belt take center stage by using it to cinch a loose dress or baggy sweater.
