Introducing the Freeze Freshmen
Class of 2012!
Now in its second year, this year's annual Freeze Freshmen contest has come to a close. The Freeze Freshmen Class of 2012 has been chosen! We began our search for Harvard's most witty, kind, charming and attractive freshman males with a pool of over 700 males. Through a grueling selection process in which we narrowed these 700 down to just over 80 and then again to a group of 30, the final cuts were made and this group of 13 freshman males was chosen. In addition to being recognized as a Freeze Freshman, the Freeze Freshmen are the only men on campus eligible to compete for the title of Mr. Harvard Freshman. While the selection of the Freeze Freshmen was a closed process, we want to give YOU the opportunity to help us select our new Mr. Harvard Freshman. In addition to winning a full-scale professional photoshoot, Mr. Harvard Freshman will be the subject of a feature article and will grace the cover of our February issue! Check out the guys below and vote for the one YOU believe deserves the title of Mr. Harvard Freshman 2012!

Anything as long as I got to wear the Flash’s costume. You can’t beat full crimson spandex with lightning bolts.

Harvard Girls are the best because I like a girl who can handle my math homework and me.
The first thing I think when I wake up in the morning is... why is a Japanese tourist taking my picture?... I need to start wearing more clothes in bed…

When I grow up I want to get into cancer research.
If I was given a million dollars and told I had to spend it by tomorrow, I would buy 481,927 slices of pepperoni from Pinnochio’s.
What’s a good boyfriend? Someone who knows what a girl wants before they do and who can always make her smile.
What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done? Cooked dinner in. Dessert was a trail of rose petals leading to a Tiffany’s necklace.
If I were an animal I would be a polar bear. I’m most comfortable in the snow and very cuddly.

What’s your most embarrassing date moment? When my date and I decided to share a chocolate with our mouth then kiss. No, it didn’t turn out like the movies, we had chocolate all over our faces.
What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done? I’m in a long distance relationship now, I left one present a month with my good friend to pass to my sweetheart.

Favorite Color and why: Fuschia, because it is the color of my passionate soul.
If you could be a superhero what would you be and what powers would you possess? I would be Batman, because he is one of the only superheroes who possess no supernatural powers, just a big heart. Plus, I look good with a Styrofoam muscle chest.
Describe your ideal date night. I would cook a delicious meal of pasta with pink sauce that we would enjoy at my bachelor pad, candlelit and accompanied by white wine. Then, we would watch American Beauty, with my arm around her, and her head resting on my shoulder. Afterwards, we would listen to some Radiohead and Michael Jackson, start making out, and the date part of the night would end there.
What’s a good boyfriend? A good boyfriend is not someone who will confirm everything his partner thinks, but someone who will challenge her to become a better person. Then, as the partner realizes the boyfriend is a positive influence on her life, she is grateful for him and helps him to do the same. A man who can cultivate this relationship is a good boyfriend.
Favorite pick up line? Life without you is like a pencil without lead, pointless.

If you could be a superhero what would you be and what powers would you possess? I would be Mr. Freeze and I would light stuff on fire, confusing everyone.
Which Disney Princess is the hottest and why? Jasmine because I’m a big fan of the dark complexion… plus who wouldn’t be down for a magic carpet ride?
Harvard Girls are the best because… they’re your best shot at someday being a stay at home dad.

When I grow up… I’m gonna play baseball! Or something equally as childish
If I was given a million dollars and told I had to spend it by tomorrow, I would… give it to the spare change newspaper guy in the square. Mostly because he’s the man, and he calls me sir.
Describe your ideal date night. Dinner and a movie is always a solid choice. I really like the car ride, though. It’s a good chance to talk, and it’s just you and her. I’m also a big fan of cuddling on the couch, though.
What’s your most embarrassing date moment? I was going to take my g to a movie but I got really lost on the way to the theater and ended up missing the show. We hung out in Wal-Mart instead. Excellent.

Favorite Color and why: Green. It’s my eye color, and it has been my favorite since being a little kid. Blue and red were always the favorites, so I liked to be a little different.
If you could be a superhero what would you be and what powers would you possess? I would be Tony Stark (Iron Man). He is an engineering genius and built his own super hero suit. His powers are self-obtained, not through a freak accident with gamma rays or radioactive spiders. The suit would allow me to fly, so when I’m not defeating bad guys, I would be able to travel the world.
When I grow up I want to direct and act in movies.
If I was given a million dollars and told I had to spend it by tomorrow, I would buy Pinocchio’s and rename it Pistachios so everyone would call it “stache” and say “Let’s go get some stache.”

If you could be a superhero what would you be and what powers would you possess? Mighty Mouse. He was my favorite superhero as a kid, and I guess there’s something enchanting about a flying super mouse.

If I was given a million dollars and told I had to spend it by tomorrow, I would… donate half of it to fund diabetes research, and I would donate the rest to Annenberg to improve the quality of food.
If I were an animal I would be an owl (high school mascot, and it reminds me of all my high school friends).
What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done? Dinner picnic in Central Park under fireworks, followed by me singing “Collide.”

Harvard Girls are the best because… they are the best of both worlds, very hot, and very smart.
I think it’s sexy when girls wear… leggings underneath a jean skirt, boots with the fur, and a fitted tee. It’s sexy without being too provocative, and it keeps me guessing
If I was given a million dollars and told I had to spend it by tomorrow, I would… use it to buy my grandmother a house, a car, and bonds so that she could move out of the projects and stop working in facilities maintenance at the hospital.
What’s your most embarrassing date moment? So, one of my past girlfriends really wanted to go to a French restaurant. I wanted to impress her, so I studied up how to order in French. Once we got there, I told her I had everything under control and ordered both of our meals. When the food came, it looked pretty good, even though I was not sure what it was, or what was in it. Turns out the meat had a special peanut sauce on it, which my girlfriend was allergic to. She had a bad allergic reaction, and we had to leave the restaurant and rush back to her house to grab her medicine to stop her from getting too sick.
Favorite pick up line? How much does a polar bear weigh? Enough to break the ice. Can I get your number?

If you could be a superhero, who would you be and what powers would you possess? Multi-lingual man. I would speak every language. (also I would be able to dodge bullets and have a pet baby panda.)
