Spotted: Molly O'Laughlin '11

Like Aznavur, Molly successfully  mixes patterns and textures within a relatively limited color palette. Her skirt and scarf, and tights and sweater work well together without being too matchy-matchy. She pulls off the tights with aplomb and her look is flirty and fun!

Spotted (In the Quad): Vasso Katsarou '11

Vasso's look is simple but chic. A smart coat goes a long way, and hers manages to look youthful without appearing too twee. Her ankle boots really complete the outfit, but unfortunately, this picture does not do them justice!

Spotted: Emily Battista '11 & Elizabeth Joyce '11

Kicking back after a long night on the town, sophomores Emily (left) and Elizabeth were spotted taking repast at Bolocco. With ensembles sure to catch the eye and "dress to impress" attitudes, these two bring a welcome touch of color to the night.

Spotted: Aznavur Dustmamatov '11

Yes, yes, two dude posts in a row, but just look at Aznavur's attention to detail, color and texture! His gray tweed jacket matches his alternating dark and light gray scarf. His cardigan picks up the navy blue of his t-shirt and topsiders, while the pattern helps his sweater maintain its own character. By sticking to a limited color palette, he can experiment more with patterns and textures, without his look coming across as too busy or frivolous.

Also, something to note: acidwashed denim is back. I'm serious! They've been spotted on runways as varied as Topshop (fast but quality fashion) and Balmain ($1,000 jeans beloved by French Vogue).

Spotted: Mary Anne Marks '10

Demonstrating that classic is always cool, Mary Anne Marks finds herself right at home in Leverett's elegant Junior Common Room. Complete with a cable-knit cardigan, long wool skirt, and silver locket, she successfully captures all the grace and beauty of the demure schoolgirl.

Spotted: Aaron Fallon '11

Aaron kept it hipster-prep in simple, but well-edited, basics while shopping for classes. He reserved his biggest sartorial statement for his watch.

He bought the actual timepiece from Rite Aid, of all places, and paired it with a ribbon watchband from J. Crew.
