Starting the New Year Right: Freeze Staff Resolutions

It’s always refreshing to start out a new year. We get the chance to try again. Maybe we didn’t go to the gym as much as we’d hoped, or study as hard as we’d have liked in 2009, but that’s what 2010 is for! Here are a few of the Freeze staff’s New Year’s resolutions that we’d like to share with you. From all of us, good luck with your own resolutions (we know we’ll need it)! We hope you’ll be inspired and motivated in the upcoming year.

In 2010, we resolve to…

… learn how to dance really, really well. Patrick Swayze, we’ll try to do you justice.

… be better about keeping our rooms organized. We think our roommates will approve.

… stop biting our nails (again). If only we had fewer exams, papers, extracurriculars, and men (or lack thereof) causing drama in our lives…then maybe it’d be an easier habit to break?

… start reading books for pleasure again. Something not on a syllabus, please!

… spend more time with people we love – even the ones in the Quad. (Just teasing, Quadlings. We love you too.)

… sleep at night, and do homework during the day. Ooh, this might be tough. We’re starting to feel nocturnal.

… drink more water! Although we will dearly miss all the caffeine.

… head to the gym once a day!! Even when the snow is up to our ankles and we have a paper (or two) due. The MAC awaits!

… to eat healthier in the dining halls. Even when there’s popcorn chicken and fries…and pie…and muffins. Sigh.
