Top Ten Reasons to Break Out of the Harvard Bubble

By Guillian Helm

April 6, 2008

*Gasp* It's true! There is a whole new (well...not so new) world outside of the Square! Our Top Ten reasons why YOU should go explore it!

1. You can observe "normal" people firsthand.
2. Newbury St. has better stores.
3. You will impress all of your fellow Bubble-mates with your "wild and adventurous" side.
4. Automatic street cred.
5. Cambridge doesn't have a Chinatown. Boston does. 'Nuff said.
6. The Big Apple is only $15 and 4 hours away. …and they have a bigger Chinatown… and even better stores…
7. It could be interesting to see what a real party looks like.
8. The journey outside the Bubble could become a good resume-builder.
9. Consider leaving the Bubble as a "test flight" for when you have to leave for good after graduation.
10. Because it will feel that much better to come home again. (awwww!!)
